Funding Advice

CVS provides support and information on finding funding and fundraising. As voluntary organisations it's always a priority to keep funding coming in to support the important work you are doing in your community. We have a library of books that you can hire at any time. Our Funding Adviser, Mary Waters, can help you find potential sources of funding and then guide you through the process of application.

Funding Links

GrantNet - Wiltshire & Swindon External Funding Network

Access to the free Grantnet funding search can be obtained through to the Wiltshire & Swindon Intelligence Network site. Click on "Click to search for funds", the window will open up and enable you, once registered, to undertake a search in relation to your project.

Open4Community

Open4Community is a free online search tool that enables charities and community groups to quickly find relevant funding sources. This search tool contains full details of 4,500 Charitable Trusts that fund charities and other community groups as well as information on government and lottery grants schemes. This link will take you to the Bath & North East Somerset section, but you will find it searches both local and national funders.

www.governmentfunding.org.uk
This is free to use and contains lots of useful information about statutory funders. You can search the available funds to find out which ones might be interested in supporting your particular project, and also register for email alerts. This is a very useful service as statutory funding streams are regularly updated and changed.

Lottery Funding

Lottery Funding is a joint website run by all Lottery funders in the UK. The site allows you to search information on current funding programmes across the UK.

This is just a small sample of the funding opportunities out there, please contact CVS for further help with funding and finding a potential funder.
