Our Development Officer,
Karen Moyes, can help if you have any question regarding
your group’s structure and business plan, trustee and
related management and governance issues, training needs, and other issues.
Quality Assurance Systems:
An easy and flexible way
to assess your group’s health and performance is to use a
quality assurance system. PQASSO has been specifically
devised for the voluntary sector and recognised by funders.
We can help you getting started with implementing a quality

Networking Opportunities:
We also provide voluntary and community groups with an
opportunity to network and exchange information, for example
at the Chairs' Network,
Voluntary Sector Forum or
Community Lunches. To attend any of these events please

The
Voluntary Sector Forum
brings together all CVS member groups to give them a chance
to have a say in matters affecting the voluntary and
community sector as a whole. It makes your voice heard and
empowers local groups to take part in partnerships with
statutory and other agencies. The Voluntary Sector Forum
feeds into the Local Strategic Partnership and is consulted
on other issues which will shape the future of the voluntary
sector.
