Representation & Consultation

Develop engages in constructive partnerships within and on behalf of the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS).

In Wiltshire we sit on the Wiltshire Compact, the Wiltshire Infrastructure Consortium, the Wiltshire Assembly and the Wiltshire Voluntary Sector Assembly.

In B&NES we Vice Chair and represent the VCS on the B&NES Compact Board and represent the VCS on the Local Strategic Partnership, chair the Voluntary Sector Forum and sit on the West of England Consortium Board.

We also take part in consultations on behalf of the sector and keep groups informed of the progress and outcomes of regional and national consultations.

N.B.The Wiltshire Assembly and Wiltshire Council are currently consulting on the Wiltshire Community Plan 2011 - 2020.

Our Networking Events provide the opportunity for groups to come together and discuss their views on the strategic issues that affect them. These views can then be represented through the various partnership boards (see above) on which we sit.
